Welcome to Schofield Middle School!
When you visit our school, please sign in at the front office.

Online registration will BEGIN on Wednesday, March 10th. Final web information is being completed this evening and will postpone the opening of the web pages until 2:15 p.m on Wednesday. Thank you for your patience and we look forward to you beginning your registration at that time. As a reminder, the registration process should be completed by March 17th.

Way to go Tiger! Our very own Demetrius B. has made it to the Nevada State Geography Bee Finals. He will be competing with other middle school students on April 9, 2010 at Tarkanian Middle School for the State title. Go get'em Demetrius.

Band Festival is Thursday, March 11 at UNLV's Ham Hall. The bands will play at 3:35 pm, 4:00pm, & 4:25pm. Click the link Driving directions for directions from Schofield MS!

Schofield Madrigal Singers perform at the NEA Conference on Friday, March 12 at 4:00pm to 5:00pm . The performance is at the Flamingo Hotel.

The Madrigal Festival is Saturday, March 13 at Green Valley HS.

Daylight Savings Time begins Sunday, March 14. The clocks "Spring" forward.

CONGRATULATIONS to our Schofield MS Madrigal Singers! They represented themselves and Schofield MS in a spectacular manner at the American Choral Director's Association - Western Division Convention in Tucson, AZ. Visit our EVENTS page to read more and sample some of their music. Way to go Tigers!

CONGRATULATIONS to our Flying Tiger Cheerleaders! They participated in the Freedom Dance Competition, that was sponsored by Liberty HS. Our team brought home the "HIGH GOLD," one of the highest rankings possible.

Lost and Found Clothing may be check for and picked up in the cafeteria until Friday, March 12. Unclaimed clothing will be donated to one of our local charities.

Schofield MS 2010-11 Course Catalog is now online. Click on the RESOURCES page for the link to a printable version of the catalog. The Schofield MS current 6th and 7th Grade Student Registration will begin on Wednesday, March 10th and will end on Wednesday, March 17th.
A link to the Silverado HS pre-registration information is also avaliable on the RESOURCES page.

Author, Brandon Mull visited Schofield MS - Monday, March 1. Mr. Mull discussed writing and encouraged our students to become betters writers through writing their thoughts. Mr. Mull is the author of FABLEHAVEN.
