MANDATED IMMUNIZATION

The Nevada State Board of Health recently passed a mandate requiring all INCOMING SEVENTH-GRADERS to be immunized against Bordetella pertussis (whooping cough).

 
2008-2009 Recommended School Supplies

Registration for elective classes will start March 4, 2008 using our online website. New students to Schofield Middle School will register for their 2008-2009 elective classes when they complete their school registration (See our registration link for more information on registration to a Clark County school.) Parents Still Make the Difference is a newsletter that has been funded by the Clark County School District and will be posted monthly in both English and Spanish. Schofield families may print the publication for their home use only.

The Wings of the Flying Tiger

The Wings of the Flying Tiger is our schools bi-monthly newsletter. Find information about the many activities our students engage in it achool. See the list of top student scholars in the Straight A, A-B Honor, Perfect Attendance, and Straight O Citizenship rolls. A letter from the principal begins all of our newsletters and the up-and-coming events calendar make a great finish to the information provided.

Monthly Lunch Menu

Click on the "Monthly Lunch Menu" link above to get the latest menu for the daily lunches offered by the Clark County School District for middle school students. This menu will remain all month and will be replaced at the first of each new month. The Daily student bullitin will continue to provide the menu for the next school day. Schofield Student Planner

This booklet includes: important school contact telephone numbers, locker rules and use information, an area where your child can write the daily schedule, school behavior rules in the classroom, gym, and cafeteria, counselor information, award programs, attendance policy, discipline rules, and the dress code policy. Click on the Jack Lund Schofield Student Planner link above to view its information.

Any planner can help your child become organized and communicate. The planner includes a calendar that the student can use to record daily assignments and messages to and from home.

The student planner can be purchased from the student store during lunch and during student orientation.

Student Store Supplies

The student store is located in the cafeteria and is open every day during all lunch periods. Student may purchase a variety of items including pens and pencils, notebooks, paper, report covers, P.E. clothing, student planner, event tickets, and many many more items. Student Voluntary Statement

The JLS-19 Voluntary Statement is provided in the Deans' office for a student to write information regarding an incident that involves them or an incident they witnessed. Should your child wish to write the statement at home, click the "Student Voluntary Statement" link above for a printable version. Please return the completed form to the Deans' office as soon as possible. Should you have questions regarding the completion of the form, call 799-2290 ext. 4500.
